Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. In addition to your password, you will need to enter a temporary code generated on your phone or received via SMS.

 

1) Why enable 2FA?

Enabling 2FA allows you to:

🛡️ Protect your account against unauthorized access
🛡️ Secure your personal information
🛡️ Reduce the risk of hacking, even if your password is compromised

2) Recommended Method: Authentication App

We recommend using an authentication app such as Google Authenticator.

• You will need to download the Google Authenticator mobile app to begin this process.

• Go to your Profile section and select the Two-Factor Authentication option under Account Security.

• Scan the QR code using your authentication app.

• Open the Google Authenticator app and add your WinOui account by scanning the QR code. If you are unable to scan the QR code, you can manually enter the account’s secret key into your authentication app.
  
   

3) What if you lose access to your 2FA?

• Use the backup codes saved during activation.

• If you no longer have access to them, please contact our customer support team.
